Commenting System
Discover TRAST's platform-wide commenting system, enabling deeper context, real-time feedback, and community discussions directly within Telegram.
TRAST v0.1-beta introduces a platform-wide commenting system, transforming the platform from a simple rating tool into a rich discussion ecosystem.
Why Commenting Matters
Contextual Understanding: Explain your ratings, provide detailed reasoning, and add nuances that scores alone can't capture.
Real-Time Feedback: Share immediate insights, flag concerns, or highlight opportunities related to projects and reviews.
Knowledge Sharing: Democratizes insights, allowing all users (anonymous and verified) to contribute valuable information.
Deeper Analysis: Multi-layered discussions reveal complex details and diverse perspectives.
Accessible Everywhere: Comments are viewable via inline search (
@TrastDotBot
) in any Telegram chat—private, group, or notes.
How Commenting Works
Universal Access: Find and read comments anywhere in Telegram using inline search.
Seamless Integration: Add comments directly to projects or specific reviews using the bot's interface.
Instant Visibility: New comments appear immediately across relevant chats and entity views.
Verification Priority: Comments from verified users (✅) are often highlighted for easier identification of trusted input.
Democratic Participation: Anonymous users (👻) can contribute, with standard moderation practices in place.
Interactive Threading: Supports nested comments and replies for natural conversation flow (future enhancement).
Getting Started with Comments
Find an Entity: Use inline search (
@TrastDotBot project_name
) or navigate within the bot.View Entity Details: Select the project or review you want to comment on.
Add Comment: Use the "Add Comment" button.
Write & Submit: Type your comment and send.
View Comments: Read existing comments directly within the entity view or via inline search results.
The commenting system is a core part of making TRAST a living knowledge base, powered by the community.
